RWC Courses

The role of the responsible Welding Co-ordinator (RWC) is to ensure that all welding operations carried out are executed to meet the requirements of the standards.

  • FPC/WQMS Factory Production control (Welding Quality Management system)
  • WPQR/WQT Weld Procedure and Welder qualification Tests
  • Welding Co-ordinator
  • (RWC) Responsible Welding Co-ordinator
  • External Audit
  • CE Accreditation Achieved.

Our 2 day course the candidates are guided through everything required to be the RWC for their company. After 2 days, there will be an open book written examination which they are free to take away to complete in their spare time and is designed to test not what they remember, but their competency as Responsible Welding Coordinators. the open book exam is split into 65 questions and requires a pass rate of 76%. However candidates aren’t given a set time limit, they are free to take the exam home to work through in their own time and with it being an open book course all the information is available, candidates are encouraged to use external help such as the internet or publications as we look to test their ability not their memory.

Each Candidate will receive a certificate of attendance following completion of the 2 day course and a Responsible Welding coordinator Certificate (up to and including execution Class 2 of EN 1090-1_ following a successful assessment.
